Alexander Bauer received a B.Sc. in mathematics 2011 and a diploma in computer science in 2012, both from the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany. His scientific interests include different methods in the field of machine learning, in particular, learning with structured outputs.

Eduard Bergen is a Research Associate in the TU Berlin Database Systems and Information Management (DIMA) Group and the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin. His background is in nonrelational databases and distributed systems.

My research goals include new methods in analyzing and repearing errors in massive paralleldata processing engines.

Sergey Dudoladov joined the TU Berlin DIMA Group a Research Associate (PhD Student) in August 2014. He recently was awarded his Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh.

My main research interests include distributed query processing and efficient execution of machine learning algorithms on large scale datasets.

Sven Dähne is a research associate in the Machine Learning and Intelligent Data Analysis group. His background is machine learning and computational neuroscience.

My current research interests include the fusion of large-scale multimodal measurements in neuroimaging.

Sebastian Krause is a PhD student at the Language Technology Lab of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). He got his Diplom degree in Computer Science from the Humboldt University Berlin and has recently worked on natural language processing, in particular on text mining problems.  

My research will try to bring together modern methods from computational linguistics with state-of-the-art big-data analytics

Thomas Renner is a Research Associate at Complex and Distributed IT Systems (CIT) Group at the TU Berlin. He received his Master degree in Computer Science from the TU Berlin in 2013.

My research topics include developing massively parallel systems for efficient data processing.

Viktor Rosenfeld recently joined the BBDC. He is a Research Associate (PhD Student) in the TU Berlin Database Systems and Information management (DIMA) Group. His background is in relational databases and corpus linguistics.

Robert Schmidtke is a Research Associate working in the Distributed Algorithms and Supercomputing Department at Zuse Institue Berlin (ZIB). He received his M.Sc. in Computer Science with specialization in Algorithms and Data Structures from the University of Copenhagen in 2014.

My current research interests include developing fault tolerant systems for large scale data processing and management of distributed data.
